I heart Faces: Collages

I used to love to make collages when I was younger. Cutting out of magazines or using cards or pictures or poems. I would make an effort to change it every few weeks.  I still love making collages so this was a fun challenge!

Downtown Photo Shoot

On Sunday a friend and I ran around downtown San Diego near the airport and snapped some
pictures.  She was nice enough to model for me on the sidewalk of a busy intersection. What a sweet girl!! It was a blast! Lots of honks and curious looks from passerby's eyes.

I Heart Faces: Dramatic Black and White

I had a few dramatic black and white images to choose from but I have always loved this one of my niece.

Visited a Horse Ranch

This morning I visited (http://www.rhorses.com) a horse ranch.  It was so beautiful and serene.  The horses are gorgeous and happy.  It was a great morning... more horsey pictures to come!

I am noticing once again as I post the remaining pictures that there is something so incredibly graceful and magical about horses...

Borrego Desert Blooms

Spent Sunday out in the Borrego Desert.  The blooms aren't in full force yet but they are getting there.  It was a wonderful day of searching out flowers with two wonderful people.  Here's a few from the day; more to come.  I especially love the Ocotillo's, but that may be obvious... And here they are. Did I mention how much I love the desert? Sometimes I drift off into a quick dream and I can smell the desert air and feel the dryness pulling up on my skin. The desolation, the quiet hushed sounds, the harshness and hard beauty just melts me, literally and figuratively.
